SE Classic handlebar switch made of cast aluminum - pre-configured and plug+play compatible with our SE wiring harnesses for BMW 2-valve models.
The right-hand control unit also serves as the housing and guide for the throttle grip tube; no separate throttle grip is required!
There are many cheaply made plastic control units on the market. For our selection, we chose aluminum control units manufactured using the investment casting process with great attention to detail. The layout of the switches is logical, and the labels are engraved in an easy-to-read size and color-coded.
The high-quality die-cast aluminum handlebar switches are ready plug+play for our Classic wiring harnesses configured .
The handlebar switches are already equipped with connection cables for handlebar end turn signals. If you do not want to mount the turn signals on the handlebars, the cables can simply be removed.

SE cast aluminum handlebar switch wiring assignment
Attention: In order for the handlebar switches to work with the BMW electrical system, the pin assignment and internal circuitry had to be modified. Therefore, the circuitry/assignment of the SE cast aluminum handlebar switches is not identical to the Kawasaki handlebar switches offered on eBay and similar sites. These aftermarket switches cannot be combined plug+play with the SE wiring harness.
SE handlebar switch right:
Red: Power supply low beam/high beam
Blue: Power supply low beam/high beam (goes to the left switch)
Green: Switched positive (goes to the kill switch)
Black: Ground
Pink: Ignition current (comes from the kill switch)
Yellow/Red: Switched ground (starter relay)
Red: Power supply low beam/high beam
Blue: Power supply low beam/high beam (goes to the left switch)
Green: Switched positive (goes to the kill switch)
Black: Ground
Pink: Ignition current (comes from the kill switch)
Yellow/Red: Switched ground (starter relay)

The SE cast aluminum handlebar switches are plug+play compatible with SE wiring harnesses, but can also be individually wired with original wiring harnesses. If the switches are to be combined with the original BMW wiring harness, we recommend measuring the assignment of the original harness using a multimeter. This is because the wiring diagrams found online do not always match the respective vehicles, and incorrect wiring can cause damage to the electrical system.
