What makes the Paralever swingarm special?
In 1987, BMW introduced the Paralever with the R80 GS and R100 GS: a single-sided swingarm with additional torque support. It prevents the typical "shaft effect," where the rear end rises during acceleration. This was later followed by the R80 R and R100 R roadsters, as well as the K1, K100 RS 4V, and K1100 in the K-series models.

How do I recognize a Paralever?
