Side stand for BMW 2-valve, manually foldable with ignition cut-off

The side stand for BMW 2-valve models was developed for Twinshock, Monolever, and Paralever models and is a technically clean solution for classic BMW Boxer conversions. It is delivered pre-assembled and attaches directly to the frame. This makes installation straightforward and the side stand ready for use quickly.

Due to its positioning, the side stand is particularly suitable for custom builds where shorter exhaust systems or greater ground clearance are desired. Especially with bobber, roadster, or café racer conversions, this can prevent the original stand from scraping early in left-hand turns. For Paralever models, it also represents a practical alternative if the original side stand is removed due to the removal of the crash bars.

The side stand remains locked in the extended position and features an integrated ignition cut-off switch. This prevents riding off with the side stand extended, thus providing a technically sensible safety feature.

For some models, it may be necessary to remove the original center stand. In our Sport-Evolution conversions, we often deliberately omit it, as it can restrict exhaust routing and the overall aesthetic.

Note on BMW GS models:

The side stand is structurally compatible with BMW GS models. However, due to the greater vehicle height and higher leverage forces, GS models are not part of our official approval. Additional loads when the side stand is extended can lead to deformation. Use on GS models is therefore at the customer's own risk.
