SE side stand for all BMW 2-valve models - self-retracting

The SE side stand for BMW 2-valve models is a high-quality, practical solution for Twinshock, Monolever, and Paralever models. It is delivered pre-assembled and attaches directly to the frame. This makes installation straightforward and ensures the side stand is ready for use quickly.

Due to its specific positioning, this side stand is particularly well-suited for custom motorcycle builds. Shorter exhaust systems can be accommodated more easily, and ground clearance can be significantly improved on bobber conversions. This effectively reduces the risk of the side stand scraping in left-hand turns. It is also a sensible alternative for Paralever models if the original stand is removed due to the removal of crash bars.

The special advantage of this version is its self-retracting function. As soon as you lift the motorcycle upright, the side stand automatically retracts. This provides you with a simple, proven solution without the need for additional switches or electrical connections.

The side stand is delivered in an extra-long length, and the foot is removable. This allows the side stand to be easily adjusted to the specific vehicle height. For some models, it may be necessary to remove the original center stand. In our Sport-Evolution builds, we often remove it intentionally, as it can restrict exhaust routing and the clean look of the motorcycle.

Note:
The side stand is also structurally compatible with BMW GS models. However, due to the greater vehicle height and higher leverage forces, GS models are not part of our official approval. Use on GS models is therefore at the customer's own risk.
Additional loads while the side stand is extended can lead to deformation. This includes tipping the motorcycle over the stand or sitting on the bike while the side stand is extended.
