BMW R90S Restoration - Rebuilding to New Vehicle Standard
The BMW R90S restoration is one of the most demanding tasks for a classic BMW motorcycle. The goal of this project was to completely rebuild the legendary R90S to its original condition and bring it to a new vehicle standard, both technically and visually. The focus was not only on perfect functionality but also on preserving the authentic character of this special BMW classic.
The engine, transmission, and carburetors were completely disassembled, inspected, and professionally rebuilt. The engine also received an unleaded fuel conversion so that the classic BMW boxer can be operated with today's fuels without any issues. All work is carried out with the aim of combining reliability, originality, and high-quality craftsmanship.
The chassis was also consistently refurbished. All chassis and metal components were professionally prepared and powder-coated. The tank, fairing, and other painted parts received a complete new paint job in the original BMW R90S design. The decisive factor here is the faithful implementation down to the last detail.

A high-quality BMW R90S restoration requires experience, specialized workshop equipment, and comprehensive knowledge of classic BMW 2-valve engines. Sport-Evolution has decades of experience with BMW boxer models and a high level of vertical integration, allowing a large portion of the work to be carried out directly in our workshop.
