The seat length is sufficient for 2-person operation in Germany. However, carrying a passenger is not possible due to the Cafe Racer seat hump. By purchasing a second roadster seat, the BMW could be converted from 1- to 2-person operation in no time at all. Here is the link to the matching seat:
