Use on BMW 2-valve Boxer models R45/65/75/80/90/100: When converting the BMW electrical system to a different speedometer, the original charging indicator light is usually removed or replaced by an LED.
In this case, a resistor must be installed in place of the bulb, otherwise the battery will not charge.
This resistor can be used with all SE wiring harnesses as well as the original wiring harness.

Universal use on all BMW 2-valve Boxer models; our electronic speedometer sensor  is recommended for speed signal acquisition.
If the vehicle is equipped with an electronic speed sensor (BMW K-models), the speedometer can be used directly with the original electronic speed pulse.
