What defines a roadster
A roadster is a "naked" motorcycle without fairing, featuring an upright seating position, tubular handlebars, and a comfortable seat for two. Compared to a café racer, it is less radical but significantly more practical for everyday use – the perfect compromise between style and utility.

The best base for a BMW roadster
Almost any boxer engine is suitable. The R80 and R100 are particularly popular as twinshock or monolever models. The factory roadsters R80 R and R100 R (paralever) are already very close to the mark.

Can I still ride with a passenger after a roadster conversion?
Yes. Our roadster rear conversion kits are designed for 2 people and are supplied with a TÜV certificate.
What is the difference between a roadster and a café racer?
The Roadster features tubular handlebars, an upright seating position, and a passenger seat. The Café Racer is sportier, with clip-on handlebars and a single-seat tail section.
What does "with step" mean?
The seat has a small step between the rider and passenger areas. This provides the rider with more support and gives the passenger a better view.
Do the kits fit Twinshock and Monolever models?
