The seat length is sufficient for 2-person operation in Germany. However, due to the Cafe Racer seat hump, carrying a passenger is not possible. By purchasing a second roadster seat, the BMW could be converted from 1- to 2-person operation in a flash. Here is the link to the matching seat:
