The gear wheel "long fifth gear" is simply exchanged for the original version. The translation is thus approx. 5 % longer, this leads to a reduction of the speed by approx. 400 rpm in last gear. Suitable for all standard engines and is a must for performance increases (1000cm or 1070cc).

It should be noted that there are two versions. On the newer models the gear wheel is marked with an X. So, if the original 5th wheel of your vehicle is not in the original compartment, you can find it. If the gear wheel has an X, the longer gear wheel must also have an X. The change from the old to the new version have been in April 1980.
