The fork damping system developed and manufactured by SE, also known as "cartridge" in the trade, raises the fork of BMW 2-valve models to a new level. After the upgrade, the system corresponds to that of a modern motorcycle and sets new standards in terms of responsiveness and reserves, installed in a BMW 2-valve.
The system is fully adjustable from the outside (compression/rebound, spring preload). But this is not the real advantage, it is primarily to achieve a plus in driving stability and safety. The vehicles with this upgrade are delivered to our customers ready adjusted. So you don't have to deal with damping settings, but you have the option if you want to.
If you choose the SE cartridge, you should also consider the SE Performance shock absorber. So you achieve a very harmonious and well balanced bike.

The forks can be adjusted to practically any driving condition. The spring preload, compression stage and rebound stage are adjustable and can all be easily carried out from the outside. You don't have to be a chassis engineer to do that either. All systems are shipped with a default setting, an easy-to-follow guide to help you make changes should you need to. On the outside you can recognize the conversion by the noble fork caps, which also house the adjusters for damping and spring preload. A 14mm key for the spring preload, a small slotted screwdriver for the compression and rebound stages, so that the fork can be perfectly adapted to almost any application.
