Seat covers can be made of different materials: leather, eco-leather, fabric. Leather has different qualities and finishes. Basically, the natural surface of cowhide is smooth. Nappa leather (is cowhide) therefore best represent the natural structure of leather. Heavily scarred leather is embossed.
The mintings of the 60/70s by Mercedes, e.g. Rosette perforation until 1985, asterisk perforation from 1985 and of course lichen scars with the perforation between the pipes. Perforations in different sizes and distances are of course also part of this, but are more a topic of modern vehicles.

seat covers can be quilted differently, consist of several materials or possess pipes filled with great effort.
-Sutures can be made as decorative seams: Cap seam, double cap seam/English cap seam. Keder as popular design elements not to forget.
-Cushion material can be repaired or possibly completely replaced (simple foam to horsehair or rubber/coconut fillings) there is a wide range.
-Of course, we can also help with defective seat frames in our own house.

Procurement of old original fabrics is often the biggest problem when restoring car interiors.
Today there are more old substances like 15 years ago, but nevertheless it often fails at this point. Some things can be recreated today. However, the finished fabrics are often not 100% correct. So many cars are restored instead with fabric in leather, which is not true to the original. But undoubtedly it can be a nice variant and in the end the result must please its owner.
In the case of leather, such a wide variety is available, in embossing and color, which makes it impossible not to find a solution corresponding to the personal taste.
