And they've done it again........
As an "extra," this time we gave the CB250 K a little boost and bored the engine out to 350cc, similar to the CB350 of that time. As a result, it has become significantly more powerful and makes light work of the very lightweight bike.
Here is the description of the first edition again:
It wasn't just the Europeans; the Japanese also built very stylish bikes in their early days. The old HONDA CB series in particular was legendary. Above all, of course, the CB 750 Four, a milestone in motorcycle history.
However, a café racer conversion should be light, slim, and agile. Bikes with single and twin-cylinder engines are simply better suited for this. In this case, the choice fell on a Honda CB250K, a beautiful motorcycle that literally screams to be customized. The goal was a café racer and a complete motorcycle restoration, including an overhaul of the engine, transmission, and carburetors.
The bike has been completely rebuilt, the engine has been overhauled, and every single part, no matter how small, has either been refurbished or replaced. In the end, it is basically a new motorcycle. I don't need to mention here that such a project cannot be done for €10k. We are talking about a great many parts, some custom-made, a good 130 hours of labor, painting, upholstery work, powder coating,......
