Before injection technology replaced carburettors, flat slide carburettors were the measure of all things. We offer flat slide carburettors in various sizes and for different applications. The 36mm are primarily suitable for the R80, but also for the R100 and offer the most pressure from the rev range. The 40mm version is the best compromise between rich power from low revs and good top end power. The 42 mm version is a pure sports and racing carburettor, the peak power gained is slightly at the expense of the lower rev range.
In general, however, with a slide carburettor the rider is in control of how much power he wants to release. There is no bottom-end piston to interfere, a quick twist and every twitch is converted into propulsion. Sensitive response behaviour, a great sound and a rich power and torque development are guaranteed by the conversion to slide carburettors. The carburettors can be combined with the original air filter box.

The jets are preset for BMW two-valve engines. The sizes are designed according to our experience.

Tip: The carburettors can also be used with the original throttle grip / throttle cables. Only the thread of the cable adjuster must be cut to 6 x 0.75 mm.
