BMW 2-Valve Boxer Side Stand that Locks by SE
It was one of the most elaborate constructions we made for the BMW 2-valve bikes. Initially, it seemed like a simple task. However, getting all the angles and positions right cost us a few gray hairs.
We offer the SE side stand in two versions: One, with the same function as the original versions, where the side stand automatically retracts when unloaded.
The second version corresponds to modern vehicles. The side stand locks in the extended position, making it much easier to get on and off. To ensure that you don't ride off with the stand extended, it features an ignition kill switch.
The original stand often prevented the installation of short exhaust systems or modified footrests. The SE side stand is mounted between the frame and the engine, thus solving many of these problems. It folds deep behind the exhaust, ensuring maximum ground clearance.
