Dabei wird die Gemisch-Zusammensetzung mittels Lambdasonde im Auspuff gemessen und auf die optimalen Werte hin korrigiert. Dies geschieht in der Regel alle 250 U\/min, sowie bei den verschiedenen Drosselklappenstellungen 2, 5, 10, 20, 40, 60, 80 und 100%.
